Presley's debut film. It's basically a standard Western, about three Confederate brothers who steal a Union payroll and take it back to the family farm when the war is over. This is where Elvis comes in and the Western opts out - he's the younger, fourth brother, who has married the older brother's girl. A feud ensues, Presley gets filled with lead (but not before his pelvis and voice-box have had a workout), and finally reappears as a ghost, reprising the title number over his own grave.
