Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Bizarre semi-black comedy charting the on-off relationship between Carrides (a polio victim whose erotic fantasies fuel her novels) and shady jeweller LaPaglia, who's torn between his wealthy fiancée and the woman whose leg he believes is only temporarily broken. The film, which occasionally gets rather too broad to work as properly romantic comedy, is frank about the difficulties of physical impairment, and even seems to celebrate it here and there.
