The Unholy Garden (1931)
Director: George Fitzmaurice
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Ever urbane Colman is the gentleman thief in this picturesque Sam Goldwyn trifle. Hiding out in a desert hotel that's a refuge for a coterie of international criminals, he joins the plot to rob blind innkeeper Marshall and ward Wray of their hard-earned nest egg, but romance is on the menu. Colman apparently didn't think much of the piece, though screenwriters Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur found it hard to turn in a completely duff assignment.Author: TJ
