Expensive, long and dreary attempt at a South African Western with the Zulus as makeshift Indians. Power is the rugged trekking Boer, Susan Hayward the love interest, a fiery Irishwoman who emigrated in the wake of the potato famine. Shot in 'Scope, with matte shots and back projection masking the fact that none of the principals ventured to Africa.
