From Time Out New York

Michael Bay's latest assault on the senses—a sci-fi action flick about a clone factory where two self-aware "products" (McGregor, Johansson) escape to hunt down their look-alike patrons—delivers exactly what you'd expect: a thrill ride that's so busy jerking you around you barely have time to realize it isn't thrilling in the least. The movie's real author, ironically, isn't even listed in the opening scrawl: Though it's the first Michael Bay extravaganza not made under Jerry Bruckheimer's tutelage, the megaproducer's touch is still all over every overlit image and meaningless camera movement.
