The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)
Director: Ken Kwapis
Movie review
From Time Out New York
As any body-conscious teen knows, the search for flattering jeans is a daunting task. After discovering such a treasure buried in the stacks at a thrift shop on the eve of their first summer apart, four lifelong pals agree to circulate the magical pair weekly via mail, along with letters documenting their vacations, all of which seem to bring about major existential revelations. Overcoming some not-so-subtle plot turns and heavy-handed tear-jerking, strong performances by Sisterhood's young stars make the lives of these girls surprisingly engrossing.Author: EC
