Sky High (2005)
Director: Mike Mitchell
Movie review
From Time Out New York
Though borrowing liberally from The Incredibles and X-Men, this family-friendly action comedy is more like a superpowered Breakfast Club, with shape-shifting goths, Day-Glo poseurs and a head cheerleader who can clone herself. Superkid Will Stronghold (Angarano) has just started at Sky High, where ultrateens are quickly divided into heroes and sidekicks. When an evildoer pulls a sneak attack on the school, it's up to Will and the misfit sidekicks to save the day. Cookie-cutter teen archetypes abound, but Angarano and the young cast have fun with them.Author: DA
