Synopsis
After ‘The Wind That Shakes the Barley’ took Cannes by storm, Ken Loach and writer Paul Laverty return to London for a timely look at demographics – a story about two pals, Angie and Rose, who set up their own recruitment agency for eastern-European immigrants out of Angie’s flat. The production travelled to Poland and the Ukraine.
