Daddy Day Camp (2007)
Director: Fred Savage
Movie review
From Time Out New York
With Eddie Murphy apparently having finally found a role he’s willing to turn down, it’s up to Cuba Gooding Jr. to provide the star power for this sequel to Daddy Day Care. The two superdads (Gooding and Rae, taking over for the original’s Jeff Garlin) are now running a dilapidated summer camp. Much time is spent waiting for a methane-filled toilet to explode, an incident that only begins to approximate the visceral experience of watching this movie. Daddy Day Camp marks the feature directorial debut of former Wonder Years star Fred Savage. The next Ron Howard he is not.Author: Joshua Land
