Outsourced (2006)
Director: John Jeffcoat
Movie review
From Time Out New York
Things seem bad for Todd Anderson (Hamilton) when his job—managing a call center for novelty products—is outsourced to India. Insult is added to curry-flavored injury when he must commute to India to train his replacement, Purohit N. Virajnarianan. Culture shock sets in, but Todd slowly begins to learn about his new home, even as he teaches his replacements to speak with a nasal Midwestern drawl. Picture Office Space, but shot in Mumbai and not funnyAuthor: Drew Toal

- Posted on Sep 15 2008 16:55 This movie is great! Dont picture "Office Space" picture My Big Fat Greek wedding, but for expats or aANYONE who has worked with or just called into phone sales/support (or just see it without comparing it and picture it as a good film on its own). I moved to india from the US for work for 2years and the movie is not only spot on its VERY entertaining. The office relationship moments are all funny, the romantic part of this romantic comedy is as good as in any other film and the learning to adapt or change as a person and live life and get out of your comfort zone parts.....etc, all stand on their own in this film. So for $7-$10 you get over 3 movies for the price of 1..."Outsourced" saves you money right there ;-)
