Movie review

From Time Out New York

Thoughts of “Tina, eat your food” being parroted ad nauseam should be enough to convince anyone that a Napoleon Dynamite spin-off is neither warranted nor wanted. Tim Skousen—who was first assistant director on ND—went ahead and made one anyway. In The Sasquatch Gang, Gavin Gore (Sumpter) and his merry band of nerd pals stumble upon seeming evidence of bigfoot. While the gang waits for a Sasquatch expert (Weathers) to arrive, Gore is forced to contend with two townie villains. It takes approximately two minutes of “What the crap is this?” Napoleon-ese to make moviegoers seriously regret voting for Pedro.
