Profit motive and the whispering wind (2007)
Movie review
From Short Review - NY
To be completely honest, this is an experimental film about grave sites. But the longer you watch John Gianvito’s quiet stunner, the deeper it gets. Gianvito isn’t interested in just any old tombstones, but those of America’s most distinguished labor leaders—folks like Eugene Debs and César Chávez. Crosscut with swaying trees and weeds (and no narration), the film hints at something fundamentally American.
