Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
Director: Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath
Movie review
From Time Out New York
This sequel picks up where its 2005 predecessor left off: The four main mammals head back to Manhattan, only to wind up somewhere on continental Africa. Evil penguins, posh British chimps and an übercamp despot (Baron Cohen) all hijack the limelight as deftly as they did in the original. You can’t fault DreamWorks for including what Disney’s animated tales conspicuously leave out—gags pitched at adults. Plus, the CGI has improved since the first film, with animal fur being ruffled in all the right places.Author: Anna King

- Posted on Nov 16 2008 07:46 The film is really awesome! It's indeed a great contunuation of its first part. I like the new concept now. I'm touched. The lesson is there. Kids will surely love this one. So, scratch your feet off and go to your nearest cinemas. This is a movie that one should not dare to miss. Highly Recommended.
