Mutant Chronicles (2008)

From Time Out New York
In the distant future, the corporate nations of Bauhaus and Capitol fight to the death over the planet’s dwindling resources. During one battle, an errant shell activates an infernal machine beneath the earth. (You know, the one that will release the unstoppable horde of necromutants.) And the only one who can save us is Major Mitch Hunter (Jane), a salty soldier recruited by the mystical Brother Samuel (Perlman). The film plays like an extended-cut scene from an Xbox 360 shooter, but heroic sons of bitches mixed with exploding torsos at humanity’s darkest hour sometimes equals splattery fun.Author: Drew Toal
