Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A beautifully elaborated, extended gag about a bumbling intellectual and Tintin fan (Podalydès) who invites his dream date (Candelier) for an intimate evening in, but gets hopelessly entangled in his own fastidious embarrassment. Nothing could be simpler than this deliciously excruciating comedy of errors (it's as if a bunch of Rohmer characters had accidentally stumbled into a Feydeau farce), but Podalydès (who also co-scripted and plays the lead) carries it off with perfect timing.
