Director: Daniel Pommereulle
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Luminous, provocative and ascetic, this North African meditation was the most expensive Zanzibar production. The director, who was also a painter and sculptor, plays the shamanic lead, spitting with a young Arab boy on the corruption and decadence of the West. This attack is set alongside exquisite images of the moon, taken by southern California's Questar telescope.
