The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat (1974)
Director: Robert Taylor
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Without director Ralph Bakshi, and now bearing almost no resemblance to Robert Crumb's original, this animated sequel to Fritz the Cat is woefully inept. A stoned Fritz fantasises his way out of his welfare and tenement existence. Kissinger makes a telling appearance; but Hitler as an anaemic-looking Pink Panther, and a time-filling photo montage sequence are better indications of the film's true level.Author: CPe
