Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

This rites-of-passage movie set in late-'60s Athens (the musical references are somewhat misdated) is not exactly gripping, but gets by on fair performances, as Christos, shy, intelligent son of a Patras workman determined that his boy study medicine, begins to make friends at his new school. Not much happens - they discuss music, date girls, stage Rhinoceros, and the father of one of them is arrested (this is the era of the Colonels) - but at least it avoids the usual macho adolescent pitfalls.
