  Posted on Mar 23 2009 02:52 Altogether disagree with the review and the score. I think it's very far from being a martial arts exploitation movie, and many regard it as Lee's magnum opus. It's certainly his most intense - so it must be said if you're putting this film down, martial art movies just aren't for you. I think it's without question a historic moment in western cinema, and only the sheer presence of Bruce Lee in this film made it such.

  Posted on Jan 04 2008 04:57 what exactly were Lee's talents i wonder. He was never a terrific actor. He was a martial artist and an action star. And that is exactly what this movie is. Some of the most compelling fight scenes in movie history. Complain about the plot or other elements all you like, but to suggest fists of fury, big boss, or way of the dragon are somehow more complex or artful is just absurd. You can't have it both ways. If you don't like this movie, you don't like Bruce Lee. Period

You have no idea what Bruce Lee represented nor do you understand the real essence of what the movie is supposed to portray. Go back to watching Disney movies with 12 year olds.
