Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

This alternative history of the cinema, as discovered on old reels of film buried in a pile of rotting gloves, features glove performers in every genre of movie: a silent chase pantomime; a love triangle; an avant-garde shocker not unlike Un Chien Andalou; a war drama; a high society showcase by 'Federico Bellini'; and a monstrous mish-mash of gangsters, dinosaurs and alien invaders, at which point the finder, not unreasonably, throws the lot back in their hole. Wonderfully deadpan, beautifully observed and exquisitely animated - these gloves put plenty of actors to shame.
