Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A muddled piece of misogynistic violence, which tries to offset its all too common tale of a murderous rapist by having a Fonda-style newscaster (Tewes) bravely investigate while confronted by apathy and accusations of hysteria from boyfriend, police and male colleagues at work. This promising (?) aspect, however, is betrayed both by the repeatedly voyeuristic assaults, and by the objectionable climax in which the newscaster's younger sister (Leigh), made deaf, dumb and blind by a childhood rape, is 'cured' by the killer's attack.
