Whooping Cough (1987)
Director: Péter Gárdos
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The Hungarian cinema tackles the October 1956 uprising again, this time seen through the eyes of two mischievous children in a family of confused and desperate adults. For the most part, the film is attractive and well staged, but the grinning brats are allowed to hog the camera too much, and the climactic intrusion of reality on their playground is badly fudged.Author: DT
