Illuminating documentary observing the famously austere experimentalists as they edit their film Sicily! - Straub paces, rants, theorises, jokes and smokes, while Huillet listens and gets on with the work. Using a suitably plain, functional visual style, director Costa also includes footage of his subjects discussing their work with students, and catches some intriguing snippets - who'd expect to hear Straub going on about Bloody Mama?Author: GA
