The Day of the Dolphin (1973)
Director: Mike Nichols
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Having taught his beloved marine playmate to speak (i.e. to say 'Fa, Ma, Pa' and other fascinating gems), scientist Scott discovers that the creature's intelligence is being exploited by horrible humans in a plot to kill the president. A bizarre and often ridiculous attempt to merge documentary, suspense and comedy that is marginally less silly than Nichols' best-loved film, The Graduate.Author: GA
