The Day the World Ended (1955)
Director: Roger Corman
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
An early Corman sci-fi movie (his first, in fact, as a director) which has survivors of the holocaust fending off an unfriendly mutant, and is engaging (almost convincing, even) in its pervasive seediness. The use of locations and the interplay between the desperate characters is surprisingly ambitious.Author: TR
