Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

The man who fell to earth this time is an unnamed hit-man cloistered in a seaside villa, awaiting the arrival of his victim, the leader of a new religious cult. Morita (young director of Family Game) structures the movie like a computer game, in which unexpected new information is required to move on to the next phase; he exerts vice-like control over the images and moods, juggling moments of eroticism, inner violence, misogyny and black humour. It all works like a pacemaker with induced hiccups.
