Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde (1971)
Director: Roy Ward Baker
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Admirably successful attempt to ring new changes on an old theme, with the good doctor turning himself into a beautiful femme fatale who lures prostitutes to their death in an East End in panic at the Jack the Ripper killings. The transgression thus being sexual as well as moral, the already rich story takes on a wealth of new meanings, while Brian (Avengers) Clemens' script is both witty and imaginative. Enormous fun.Author: GA
