Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

In this lively if inevitably compromised biopic of the charismatic Hong Kong martial arts star, Jason Scott Lee (no relation) looks good and moves well as the Chinese street kid who came to America, set up his own martial arts school, landed a supporting role in the Green Hornet TV series, then returned to Hong Kong to find he had become a national celebrity. Unlike most film star biopics, this is especially strong on the films themselves, with skilful re-creations from Fists of Fury and Enter the Dragon. Less successful is the subplot in which Lee faces up to his inner demons, depicted as a fantastical giant samurai figure.
