Dulcima (1971)
Director: Frank Nesbitt
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Product of Bryan Forbes' uneasy reign at EMI Film Productions. An adaptation of an HE Bates story about a randy, miserly old farmer and the golddigging girl who comes to work for him. Nothing more than a Woman's Own story, with one point of interest: it deals with a sort of society rarely thought interesting enough for movies, and therefore the Gloucestershire locations and bits of 'country lore' are refreshing. It's neat, but nothing.Author:
