Dynamite Chicken (1971)
Director: Ernest Pintoff
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Pryor's gags and monologues, mostly delivered while toying with a basketball on the site of a derelict building, link a series of archive clips of marginal hippies being really free, man, and politically didactic. 'Stars' such as Warhol and Lennon and Yoko appear fleetingly and to no great effect. Sketches by the Ace Trucking Co are mildly amusing. Are there better ways to spend 76 minutes? Only about 26,958. Yep, Dynamite Chicken lays egg.Author: GB
