One Good Cop (1991)
Director: Heywood Gould
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Out of the Batsuit, Keaton has run up and down the register, playing a drug addict (Clean and Sober), succumbing to a fatal illness (My Life), or Relating to Children, which he does in a big way here as a caring NYC police officer. When his partner's killed in the line of duty, Keaton adopts his offspring. Still time, though, to track down the bad guys in this bland, uninvolving thriller, one of those films that seems to be speaking to two mutually exclusive audiences: the junior schmaltz crowd and cop movie completists. Straight to video in Britain.Author: TJ
