Orchestra Wives (1942)
Director: Archie Mayo
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Second and by far the best of (surprisingly) only two movies graced by the Glenn Miller band, with some great numbers strung out on a slender plot enlivened by bright dialogue as the wives do a lot of loving and bitching while following the band tour. A moment to treasure is the specialty dance to 'I've Got a Gal in Kalamazoo' by the marvellous Nicholas Brothers.Author: TM
