The First Deadly Sin (1980)
Director: Brian G Hutton
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Dull, confused thriller, with cop Sinatra tracking down an apparently motiveless murderer, meanwhile worrying about his wife becoming increasingly unhealthy after a kidney operation. Totally superfluous religious imagery haunts the plot, the relationship between Sinatra and Dunaway seems to have been inserted entirely for sentimental reasons, and the whole thing fails to convince throughout.Author: GA
