Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

One of the 'thick-ear' melodramas which made up the bulk of British B movies, with Kendall as a pilot assigned by the Secret Service to unmask a killer. Not quite up to Dark Eyes of London or Traitor Spy, but old maestro Summers, structuring his cardboard story around low-life Paris and Croydon airport, manages some marvellous moments. An airsick passenger swearing never again to cross the Channel, a villain rising Dracula-like from his coffin, some superbly seedy can-can dancers, even an Antonioni-ish car/plane duel. Maybe not great cinema, but for those with happy memories of Saturday morning pictures, an essential part of life.
