The Forbin Project (1969)
Director: Joseph Sargent
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Two giant defence plan computers, distrustful of man's eternal stupidity, link terminals across the Iron Curtain to hold an agitated world in thrall. After an excellent beginning, the craven script (based on DF Jones' novel Colossus) develops cold feet, injects some tiresome comic relief, and gradually begins to drag the whole thing down to Dr Who level. A pity, since the first half is chillingly persuasive.Author: TM
