For Valour (1937)
Director: Tom Walls
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Aldwych farce from the pen of Ben Travers. Walls is the private who saves his compatriot's life in the Boer War and Lynn the soldier who nominates his rescuer for a VC and unwittingly reveals that he's an escaped con. Later, the plot whips into overdrive with the pair playing their own sons, but it doesn't raise much laughter these days.Author: TJ
