Redundant sixth version of the Mason yarn aimed squarely at the US TV audience who lapped it up shortly after its royal premiere here, complete with episodic structure (climaxes before commercials) and insistence on close-ups. Hardly worth a giggle, even over Bridges' 'English' accent, Ward's Monty Python beard, or Johnson in blackface.
