From Beyond (1986)
Director: Stuart Gordon
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A horror movie from beyond the pale. While experimenting with a sound resonator, mad scientist Dr Edward Pretorius (Sorel) has his head bitten off by an eel which swims in the air. Arrested and charged with his boss' murder, Crawford Tillinghurst (Combs), released into the care of a psychiatrist, later repeats the experiment to prove his innocence. This opens up another can of worms, to improbable results.Author: NF
