From the Hip (1987)
Director: Bob Clark
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Judd Nelson - the 'rebel' in The Breakfast Club - perfects his impersonation of a wild bronco in this flashy drama from the director of Porky's. The only trouble is, he's supposed to be playing ambitious yuppie lawyer Robin Weathers (nickname: 'Stormy'). Assigned to defend John Hurt on a murder rap, he loses his cool when he figures out his client may in fact be guilty of some greater evil. Cue self-righteous moralising and a contrived courtroom denouement. A trial, for sure.Author: TCh
