F.T.W. (1994)
Director: Michael Karbelnikoff
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Either 'Fuck the War', which is tattooed across Lori Singer's knuckles, or Frank T Wells - being the name of Mickey Rourke's ex-con rodeo rider. She's on the run from the law after the death of her psychotic brother (Berg), and he's the gentle loser who tries to straighten her out. Rourke's face has become fascinating. He's aged quickly, and that dimple is now surrounded by the craggy features of a real cowboy. He gives a strong performance in a very capable little movie: a melancholy love story with bloody bookends.Author: TCh
