Bachelor Party (1984)
Director: Neal Israel
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
School bus driver Rick (Hanks) has had the same bunch of friends since grade school; mentally they're still stuck there, so it may not be the smartest move to allow them to organise his stag night. Alerted to the likely presence of drugs 'n' sluts, his fiancée and future mother-in-law crash the party dressed as hookers. And so on. Despite the donkey that arrives and ODs on the pharmaceutical buffet, the 'wild' party resembles a dance routine from an Annette Funicello beach movie. To his credit Hanks behaves throughout as though he's actually in a worthwhile movie.Author: DO
