Karloff brings his usual injection of class to this middling B-pic about a scientist working in the field of rejuvenation through blood plasma treatment, which comes in handy when he's sentenced to death for a mercy killing and is able to rejuvenate himself behind bars to escape the sentence. The catch is, of course, that he's had to use the blood of a convicted murderer - definitely not a good idea, as any genre buff knows.Author: TJ
