Believe in Me (1971)
Director: Stuart Hagmann
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Hagmann, of The Strawberry Statement, shows the same concern here to isolate his audience from his subject by glossy technique. The story tracks a sensitive young doctor driven to speed by the strain of watching kids die daily in his ward. He meets Bisset, turns her on, brings her down, etc. A pernicious film that trades on deliberate confusion of values, and glamorises mainlining as effectively as a Tube ad.Author:
