The Beverly Hillbillies (1993)
Director: Penelope Spheeris
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Savour the music and lyrics from the original TV series - it's one of the highlights of this lamentable half-hour sit-com masquerading as a movie. Rich bumpkin family takes over Hollywood mansion and evil scheming couple try to cheat them of their wealth. No unexpected twists; very few jokes; not much talent. After the glory that was Wayne's World, director Spheeris should be ashamed of herself.Author: NKe

- Posted on Oct 12 2008 23:52 This film is just brilliant, I have it on Video, and I love it especially the bit where Miss Hathaway gets The Clampetts put in jail, and Mr Drysdale says he will eat mud, as long as the Clampetts don't take their money from his bank. Miss Hathaway says she will work hard for the Clampetts.
