Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

As a studio, MGM was never very happy on the range - indeed its main units rarely got out there, staying in front of process screens and depending on 2nd units. This is a typically lumbering brew, with Taylor as an unlikely Billy Bonney; but then the film has little to do with 'myth', let alone any of the 'reality' behind it. Of interest only as proof of how important it was for Ford to discover Monument Valley.
