This better-than-average sex film is based on Guillaume Apollinaire's erotic novel of the same title. Narrative development is largely jettisoned in favour of films-within films, Freudian slips, and Surrealist elements of nightmare. The direction, though, remains sadly unimaginative.Author: CPe
