The Bliss of Mrs Blossom (1968)
Director: Joseph McGrath
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Coarse comedy which looks a little like Joe Orton gone disastrously wrong (actually it's based on a play by Alec Coppel) as Attenborough's downtrodden brassière manufacturer dreams of being an orchestra conductor, his wife secretly instals a lover in the attic, and an effeminate detective prowls in quest of a crime. Any sparks in the script or performances are ruthlessly extinguished by atrocious direction.Author: TM
