Blood of the Vampire (1958)
Director: Henry Cass
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The barnstorming Wolfit as a mad doctor returning to life after execution, taking control of a lunatic asylum (which comes complete with torture dungeon, useful for chastising the recalcitrant Shelley and her lover), and using the patients as a blood bank for his vampirism. As produced by Baker and Berman, never a guarantee of anything very much, it's lusty but not exactly subtle, with one or two florid colour effects.Author: TM
