Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A lively example of the work of Chinese film-makers outside the major studios, with a good portrait of collective villainy led by Chen Kuan Tai, evocatively kitted out in flowing mane, black mask, and black gloves which conceal equally blackened hands (due to the 'iron fist' martial arts technique). Matters are helped, too, by stylish visuals and the care taken to provide adequate motivation for the usual conflict of interests between the Chinese and the Japanese.
