Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Inevitably scandalous on first appearance, this is actually remarkably coy, a close-cropped mute take on a man's face and upper body as he receives the titular (gay) stimulus below screen. This strategy has been hugely influential and is gender-paralleled directly in Steve Dwoskin's Alone and the current (2002) sex shop hoardings across London of women on the point of climax. Voyeurism frustrated and teasing boredom compete equally for the post-coital cigarette.
